Turtle River State Park

Cabins, meeting facilities & shelters

Beginning April 1,to reserve a cabin or campsite, use the online reservation system or call 800-807-4723. For Woodland Lodge, Chalet or picnic shelter reservations, contact the park directly at 701-594-4445.

Woodland Cabins

Inside Woodland CabinTurtle River State Park's Woodland Cabins are duplexes with a total of 12 units. Ten units sleep six each, bunkbed-style, while the other two units are wheelchair accessible and sleep three each. All units are equipped with private showers and toilets. No linens or bedding are furnished. No cooking is allowed inside, but picnic tables and grills are located nearby.

Rental fee per cabin unit—$45/night

Woodland Lodge

Inside Woodland Lodge dining areaWoodland Lodge, with its dining hall and fully equipped kitchen, is available year round. Amenities include a kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, stoves, sink and serving counter. The dining area seats 100. The building is wheelchair accessible and has restrooms inside.

An outside gas grill is available for an additional $25/day with lodge rental.

Chalet

Inside Chalet meeting areaThe upstairs meeting area in the park's Chalet is available year-round for groups of up to 50. The meeting area is equipped with a fireplace, tables, chairs and catering kitchen with stove, microwave, sink and serving counter. No dishes, utensils or cookware are provided.

Chalet meeting area rental fee—$75/day

Visitor Center Classroom

Seats 30 in classroom style with tables/chairs, or 50 audience style without tables. A full AV system, including digital projector, DVD/VCR, wireless microphone, screen/white board are also provided, along with coffeemaker and serving carafes. No facilities for cooking, but catering can be accommodated.

Classroom rental fee—$100/day or $50/half day

Picnic shelters

Turtle River State Park has three small shelters in the Hollows and Hillside areas, which are first come, first served.

In addition, the Aggasiz Shelter can be reserved, which holds 40 to 50 people.

Aggasiz Shelter rental fee—$30/day

CCC Memorial ShelterThe large CCC Memorial Shelter can be reserved for groups of up to 300 people.

CCC Shelter rental fee—$50/day for groups up to 100; $100/day for groups of 100-200; and $200/day for groups from 200-300 people.
