Interpretive Activities
Weekend interpretive activities, including hikes, campfire programs and Dakota Explorers, are held every weekend during the summer. Information is posted on the campground bulletin boards.
2008 Special Events
May 24, 2 p.m.—TRAIL DEDICATION. Multi-use trail dedication.
May 26—MILITARY APPRECIATION DAY. Free admission to any state park on Memorial Day, in honor of past and present servicemen and women.
June 6-8—HALLOWEEN IN JUNE. Trick or treating, costume parade, games, face painting and much more.Held in the campgrounds. Click here for more information.
July 12—TROLLEY ROBBERY. Board the 5 p.m. trolley from the 3rd Street Station in Mandan ($5/person, under 5 free), or watch the action at the Trolley Stop in the park.
June 21-22—FORT LINCOLN FESTIVAL. Military encampment and more. Regular vehicle entrance fee plus $6/adults, $4/students, 6 & under free.
June 28—FRISBEE GOLF TOURNAMENT & KITE DAY.
