The 2010 Annual Pass for state parks.

2010 annual passes
available

The 2010 North Dakota State Parks annual pass is now available online, at all state parks and from the North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department offices in Bismarck.

The annual pass, which provides admittance to all state parks when displayed on a vehicle's front windshield, costs $25 — $20 for state residents age 65 and older or for North Dakota veterans with service-related disability. North Dakota veterans with 100-percent service-related disability or former state POWs can get the pass for free. The permit is valid until May 1, 2011.

There are 18 trails systems in the state parks. Trail maps are available at each park and in most cases a brochure details the routes along with describing features and amenities including the scenery, terrain and wildlife found adjacent to the trail.

To order an annual permit online go to State Park Services. For more information call the North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department at 701-328-5357.
