Plastic Sheet for Tent Flooring
It’s great that you’ve purchased the best camping tent for your first trip, but did you also remember to buy a plastic sheet for its flooring? Even the best tents can get went if they’re not erected on top of a plastic sheet, which water can’t penetrate. You don’t need to buy plastic sheets of the thickest quality, but you should make sure they are thick enough so that they won’t get easily torn by rough and uneven surfaces.
Sleeping Pads or Air Mattresses
If you’re not used to sleeping on the hard ground then here’s something that could shock and maybe even traumatize you about camping. The best sleeping bags and tents are rarely enough to conceal the fact that the ground is hard and uncompromising. It will definitely not make a good place to sleep on, but this won’t be a problem if you bring with you an air mattress or sleeping bag.
