Canoeing Rivers
Red River
The Red, frequently called the Red River of the North to distinguish it from Texas' Red River, forms the border between North Dakota and Minnesota. This river starts at the confluence of the Bois de Sioux and Ottertail rivers at Wahpeton, and flows north to Lake Winnepeg in Canada.
