Prairie Rose State Games
State Games Program
Since its inception in 1987, over 100,000 North Dakota residents have competed in North Dakota’s Prairie Rose State Games. Patterned after and embodying Olympic tradition, the Prairie Rose State Games encourages participation by all ages and skill levels.
The Games are administered by an 11-member board. The North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department provides technical assistance to the four local park districts in Bismarck, Grand Forks, Minot and Fargo, which plan, manage and sponsor the annual event.
