Cross Ranch State Park

Over 16 miles of hiking trails wind through Cross Ranch State Park and Nature Preserve. During the winter, 10 miles of the park's trails are groomed for cross country skiing. No mountain biking is allowed. Following is a list of trails and lengths:

  • Matah 'River' Trail—2.9 miles. Includes a 1.4 mile self-guided nature trail. Hiking, groomed for skiing.
  • Ma-a-koti Old Village Trail—4.2 miles, running from Matah Trail to Sanger Campground. Hiking, not groomed for skiing.
  • Cottonwood Trail—3.3 miles. Hiking, groomed for skiing.
  • Gaines Trail—2.1 miles. Hiking, groomed for skiing.
  • Levis Trail—2.2 miles. Hiking, groomed for skiing.
  • Prairie Trail—2 miles. Nature Preserve self-guided nature trail. Not open for skiing.
